Do I need to own my own domain to use the BLOG i360™ system?
Yes. With your membership, you have complete control
over and ownership of the domain your BLOG i360™ Hub Site is running
on. Due to advanced automation and security features we host
your domain/Hub Site on our New Media optimized servers. This is included
as part of your monthly subscription.
Most hosted services put you on a sub domain. In other words, your sites
URL looks like this -- www.yourname.providersname.com -- which is a
lot like renting an apartment. By installing and maintaining your BLOG
i360™ Hub Site on a domain you own all the Search Engine
linking and optimization, so it's more like owning your own house.
If you have your own domain already, you can move it over to the BLOG i360™ servers. If you need to purchase a domain, we've made that pushbutton easy too. You can chose either option during the membership registration process.
Can I have multiple Hub Sites in one BLOG i360™ membership account?
Yes.
Is there a discount for multiple BLOG i360™ Hub Sites in one membership account?
The Power Server Account offers multiple BLOG i360™ Hub Sites in a single membership. Discounts for multiple BLOG i360™ Hub Sites are offered on a limited custom basis for members with more than six (6) sites in one account.
Can I setup an email address using my BLOG i360™ Hub Site domain?
Yes. Similar to other hosting services you have Control Panel access via CPanel. This means you can access your traffic logs and other server data in addition to setting up whatever email accounts you like with your the domain your BLOG i360™ Hub Site is running on.
Is the Blog Module of BLOG i360™ Hub Sites based on Wordpress or Wordpress MU (multi-user)?
Our proprietary management system installs and maintains (upgrades, bug fixes, etc) a fully independent blog module based on standard Wordpress on each and every BLOG i360™ Hub Site. Due to impaired SEO and security, we would never use Wordpress MU as part of a system as powerful as BLOG i360™. (Wordpress MU is easily identified by a sites "real" URL being a sub-domain like http://www.yourname.providersname.com, or your domain redirected to a masked version of that style URL.)
Can I use my own standard Wordpress theme?
No. Due to the special coding that ties together the automated functions of the three core modules of BLOG i360™ (the Blog, Marketing PRO, and New Media PRO™ modules) all optional Hub Site skins are built from the ground up. Many BLOG i360™ site skins have been built modeling existing themes originally built for Wordpress, but the new coding and stylesheets are incompatible with a regular Wordpress blog, and vice-versa.
You have full capabilities to customize the look of your Hub Site with several easy to use features in the built-in Design Center, including full access to the CSS Stylesheet of your chosen site skin.
We also offer several customization services, from basic site customization of a standard BLOG i360™ Hub Site skin to a complete ground-up site design for your BLOG i360™ Hub Site. You are provided the opportunity to add-on these upgrade services during your initial registration and/or request them at any time as an active member.
Can I customize the design of my BLOG i360™ Hub Site?
Yes! There are complete customization capabilities built into the BLOG i360™ system. Each BLOG i360™ Hub Site has its own site design center built right into the admin dashboard. This includes more than three dozen optional "base" skin designs. And each of these base skin designs is infinitely customizable via click-and-drag design center. In the Site Design Center you can choose and instantly set things like:
- The number of sidebar columns you'll have
- How you want your sidebars positioned
- What pre-defined or custom modules or widgets you want to show
in sidebars, in between posts, top or bottom of the Hub Site... just
about anywhere you want on your BLOG i360™ Hub Site
- Customize your image header and more
- And for advanced users -- full customization access to your Hub Site's CSS Stylesheet
These options effectively allow you to customize your your Hub Site all within your BLOG i360™ dashboard. It’s very simple to use and with great pre-made skin options.And for the advanced user, you can fully customize things to suit your desires with the custom CSS Stylesheet option.

Do I have FTP access to the server my Hub Site is hosted on?
Due to the security system on our BLOG i360™ New Media optimized servers we do not allow open FTP access. But your BLOG i360™ Hub Site comes with an advanced AJAX file manager built right into your Hub Site admin area. It's simple to use and easy to master so even beginners can quickly upload any type of images, audio's, PDFs or just about any type of file you could want to use on your site or offer as download.
Do you offer optional services to help me get started using my Hub Site or setting up/customizing my BLOG i360™ Hub Site for me?
Yes! We actually offer two optional packages:

- Option B: We convert an existing
Wordpress theme into a BLOG i360™ skin for you. This

What is the Power Server Account?
The BLOG i360™ Power Server Account is an optional upgrade for members who are running multiple Hub Sites with high storage and traffic demands. It includes three (3) BLOG i360™ Hub Sites all running on an optimized high-powered server in one membership account. (Your 3 Hub Sites share the total storage and bandwidth.)
We limit the maximum number of memberships on each Power Server to only one-dozen members. This assures you of rapid server response times even under high load/high demand situations that occur with higher demand of both traffic and database processing. Here are the specifications for each Power Server:
- Processor: Dual Xeon E5335 Quad Core (8 cores total)
- Memory (RAM): 8GB DDR Registered ECC
